    Dear Joe,
I have had an idea for a pinewood car holder plaque it would lay flat. with the size about 5" by 10". Then add a simple v carve with a hot rod type of clip art with some lettering (magneto is a good font). I would then make some u shaped (2) clear acylic holders that would hold the car above the plaque about 3". That way the car looks like it's floating in the air, and you can read the plaque below it.

    Dear Robert,
Sorry to bother you but had to try to see if you had any suggestions for me. My grandson won, for the second year in a row, his pack's Pinewood Derby competition last week. He is now going on to the regionals. I see your interest with your grandson as well. I would like to make some type of official looking plaque for him that would also be able to hold his pinewood derby car. I was wondering if you had done anything like that or had seen any plaques like that. Any pictures would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking that if I can come up with a nice design then I can donate them to the boys next year. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions you can give me.
