JP, I also had my "tool change" location set to a more convenient place, although I had Michael do that when he was turning on the FTC. The default wasn't to my liking as in your situation.

I could be wrong, but I think you need them "renumbered" before you output the TAP file from the Vectric software with the appropriate post processor. But I haven't tested whether or not it validates...

I agree with JP if your FTC is still disabled. Once you have Camaster enable it, you'll do the sam "inch" thing, but use the tool change version of the post processor.

The files are just simple text files with a .TAP...

The files are just simple text files with a .TAP extension. You can create them as .TAP directly or after saving them as .TXT, rename with the .TAP extension.

I thought you were talking about the larger "collection" trough at the end which normally wouldn't have a tapered bottom. Hence, my suggestion for the "large area clearance" in a pocketing toolpath....

...and just flip the boards for the final 1/8" cut from the other side. If you are centering the holes in the material, they should be located dead center when flipped if you are careful.
