I really wanted to try ldf for a spoilboard....

I really wanted to try ldf for a spoilboard. Could not get it locally or from the hardwood dealer unless I bought bulk.

After using 3/4 mdf on a 4x8 table with a hurricane vac. I'm not sure ldf...

You should go up to User CP and put your machine...

You should go up to User CP and put your machine info in your signature. It helps get you better advice when people can see what you are using.

User CP is in the blue bar at the top of the page.

You could make a vacuum setup and just use a shopvac. The hurricane is 4 shopvac motors and I think the storm is 2.

So if you want a smaller than 2x4 one motor should work fine.

I don't think it's real deep. Mine has a spoilboard glued on top of it or I would check.

3/8 would be fine.

Most people use 3/4 mdf for their spoilboard. Fly cut one side and then glue the cut...

If it were me ( which it's not ) I would put anything noisy like those vacuum pumps and dust collection behind a partition that was at least 19 ft thick. Preferable 30ft or so underground.....:)

Then part 29 needed the bottom dados grouped with the rest of the part. That's where those two small parts were coming from.

Zero your Z on the spoilboard with a tool chucked up. You can air cut if you want, hit the touch top button and simply pick up the probe and touch the bit with it before it reaches the spoilboard....
