Update:

Got everything working. Thanks so much Gary for the help over the weekend!!

When I got the Z-drive swapped out I turned the machine on and got a continuous tone coming from the Z-Drive motor. Thought that maybe I wired things up incorrectly so double checked everything. All was correct and connections were good.

Called into CAMaster tech support and they had me toggle Dip Switch 4 from the on position to off, then back again. Something about it being a configuration tone.

Anyways... this cleared the steady tone and I'm good to go.

Will be ordering a Leadshine DM1182 drive. Was nice having the spare drive for the recoil that I could use. Makes me think that I need to have spares on hand since I only have 1 machine and downtime is expensive...

This is probably in another thread or at least should be another thread... I'll start one when I get caught up if there isn't already one; "For a commercial (non-hobby) shop: What spare parts should one keep on hand at all times""

Glenn...
Sorry, I didn't give you the "double click" on switch 4. Usually only needed the first time a motor is connected. That was exactly your case. My bad.

Glad you are up and running.

No worries. All good. I learned a good amount through this process. It was actually fun taking things apart and putting back together.
