Default New ATC postions

I have added more tool forks to my machine. I have gotten everything to work with the added tool locations but the measure all tools button on the screen. I haven't been able to figure out where to add the new positons in wincnc so the measure all tools will pick up the new ones. Hoping that someone might be able to help me out with that. Thanks

I don't remember the file to change ...... if you go to the wincnc folder on your "C" drive and look for cncscrn.ini file. Make a copy of this file before making any changes. This is the file the operates all the command and buttons on the Wincnc screen. Open the cncscrn.ini file in a text editor (notepad) and look for "Measure all tools" you should see which file/macro to edit........ cnc.mac seems to ring a bell (I am not at my cnc computer)

Thanks Mick, that's what I needed. Found it there made the changes and it works.

Jim, mine is like yours down the one side. It only had 5 forks there. I added a new bracket the whole length of my machine. Turned the 5 into 20 tools. Probably won't need all of them but I figured I might as well add what will fit while I am doing it.

My machine only has 10 tools but the CNC thinks I have 20 ....... 10 tools for normal machining and the same 10 tools for the rotary (tools 11-20) with Z0 set in the center of the "A" axis.

See the picture

Mick I am impressed with the unload and t numbers sections, as well the table sectioning, I do not have a recoil and maxed at 15 tools, I may ask santa to bring your files to the camp !!

Mick,
I would love to set my screen up like yours. That is incredible! However, since I always seem to go the route of "what NOT to do" first I have been to skittish to attempt anything with WinCNC
