Default Summerhill

This little sign is going to Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island. It's a gift & I can't post it elsewhere until mid May .
This is western redcedar. I don't have room for a planer, so I use my CAMaster to plane blanks, * I also use it to cut the sandmask. It's much more efficient cutting the mask than a plotter is, but not so efficient at planing .... but it works!
There's a .15" pocket for the pictorial. I do this pocket with a tapered ballnose, & a big stepover, so there's a bit of texture. IF you're painting a pictorial, it's a lot easier if the substrate has a little "tooth", like a canvas.
This is 22k "moon" gold, if you're wondering about the different look ....

You're just too young to be so good.
