Default BIG sign Small machine

had to do another sign larger than my table, there was some discussion on how to index (Not tile)

I use locater lines (vectors) which once placed become my vector spilits to run two files after moving the sign. I use the move selection to get it right !

if the sign is 82" from y 0 then I move file -82" at y0

Thats a pretty cool idea. I have done some tiling and always end up a very slight offset at the joint. One that is small enough to usually sand out, but larger enough to be a pain in the rear. I always figure its just my imperfect re-positioning and re-zeroing. Does this method help that and/or easier than tiling?
