Default Plenum Suggestions

If you were going to add a vacuum to your CNC now and you had to make your own plenum what would you make it out of and why? What grid style would use? Would you add t slots for mechanical and jig attachment?

I want a stable plenum that can stand micro-misting for aluminum cutting. I know Phenolic is the go to choice but it is $$$. I wonder if anyone has had success with HDPE or similar products?

I like the idea of being able to fasten to t-slots if we are going to use a jig...it will reduce the vacuum pump runtime. I create jigs now sometimes but I mechanically fasten to my spoilboard, which I will not be able to do in the future.

I am intrigued by the plenums on the TechnoCNC's:
