Default Nesting strategies in Vcarve

Iíve downloaded the trial version of Vcarve and been playing with it a few evenings. Iíve successfully designed a base cabinet side and generated tool paths for it including dados . My question is what would be the easiest/quickest way to get all the parts together for nesting. Make files of each individual part and then nest ever how many, or make a file of every part to a cabinet and then import it and change the size of those that need changing? Right now the latter is making more sense to me, but maybe some of you cabinet guys know of a better way?

Mike,

Here is a link from Vectric on Nested Cabinet Parts.

http://support.vectric.com/tutorials...kmarks=cabinet

And this video on tool path templates

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UVlhdbyAyY

I'm trying to learn this process as well.

The way I train with the Vectric Software is by using a second monitor so I can work as I watch and train from the training material.
That way I can pause, rewind anytime, to take notes or whatever.

I had watched those videos Ron, informative. Thanks for sharing. Iíve been doing like you on the two monitors, hadnít thought about jotting down notes though. Iíll start doing that, itíll save a lot of rewinding.
