That X3 ( number 5) machine earned a pair of new gearboxes !!

it carved some BIG pieces and some LOOONNNGGGG runs when I had it !!

a few weeks ago I sent an email to the sign shop I sold my original 408 1998 model single head camaster (old Bill hog) fore runner to the camaster machines ya'll know today.

He told me it still cuts dimensional and 2d signs all day every day !!

Attached are a couple pictures of the X after the rebuild, installation and some cuts.

I don't like to talk money about the rebuild on the forum but CAMaster factory rebuilt both X and Y for half the cost of one new gear box! Almost every part was replaced too.

My machine is almost new now.

Cuts are amazing!

Just replaced the XP computer with a new Dell OptiPlex 790
i3 core
4gb Ram
SSD 250gb - Boots in a few seconds!
8 USB Ports! 4 on the front 4 On the back!

500 GB drive inside but disconnected. Backup for re-imaging in the future if needed. Once system was installed with Windows 7 pro 64 it was duplicated to SSD and disconnected.
