Might be better off using a diamond ended engraving drag bit.

US Router tools sells one here

Default v biy for stainless

Thanks Mr Crawford,

I probably should have said that I have tried the Drag. I'm looking for something a little more aggressive in depth.

Try these guys.

I've messed around with the Tough Tips for a potential project but they have other options for SS.

I have engraved SS using bits similar to what Jeff linked to on an old Gorton Pantograph. The "Tough Tip" type work well but they leave a fairly wide swath, e.g. fine detail is difficult. The conical type gives finer detail and can be made to work on SS but it's VERY easy to loose the tip. I was thankful I was not paying for them on the project I was working on. There may be other cutter options that I'm unaware of - my pantograph days were back in the early 80's...
