Default Tiger Maple 1911 Grips

OK, joined the 1911 grip crowd and produced this set for a customer. Tiger maple, 1/32" diameter 6.2 taper for the 3-d. Total 3-d time 2hrs 36 minutes. Turned out very nice so next up is a heavy burl walnut.

Wow great work. This just goes to prove how much more goes into a craft than the layperson is aware of. Even though I'm not a sign maker I find this dialog incredibly interesting and it makes me want to take T.R.MacMunn class.

If you have the opportunity to take TR's class it would be incredibly worth it.

He is a true master at sign making and designing and he is very funny and will keep you laughing all the time.

Default Arcade Cabinet

Ok, so getting back to why I bought my machine, building furniture. Decided I was going to build a custom multicade that was not like all the melamine, mdf, or particle board cabinets available on the market. This is the first project that the design took far longer than the build (probably because I really didn't have to think about how I was going to build unlike signs where I have to plan every step). If anyone is interested in the crv file let me know. Several companies declined to give me cad files even if I bought all the hardware from them so I will freely donate to any one willing to give it a go.

Wow that is really cool, I have to try that. I miss the old arcade games.
You did an awesome job.

If your willing I'd love to give it a shot.
