Default Transferring aspire

When I got my used stinger 1 it came wish aspire on the computer. It is working great but I called aspire today about transferring and they said for me to take a picture of the DVD. The guy I bought it from said he does not have it. Any other options? Just don't want to take a chance with a computer crash and loose such a valuable software program.

John,

Email Vectric and the guy you bought it from, Vectric just needs the A-Ok from someone at the email that it was registered with. I was recently through this with a guy who bought my old CNC Shark and Vcarve Pro. Should be the same process.

John,

Even if he doesn't have the DVD, Vectric will have him on file with his information. I went through this when I lost my DVDs during my move from NC to MI and wanted to upgrade to a newer version. Like Justin said, they just need proof of ownership from the previous owner to make it happen. They are very understanding folks...

I wanted to sell mine and go back to vcarve. I bought it second hand and they said it can only be transfered once. Hope that's not the case with yours.

Here's my recent interaction with the transfer process. A few weeks ago, purchased Aspire from a member here on Camheads. It took about a week of emails for Ventric to finally find the old license and get the ball rolling. Paid the $50 and it was licensed to my name/business. Seems like great software so far, I have a lot to learn. Overall the process was easy....but could have been expedited IMO.
