Default Stinger II Recoil Lathe - Now or Later

I ordered a "recoil lathe ready" Stinger II about 10 days ago and there is an approximately 8-week delivery. I've read a few "recoil install" threads that make me think I might be better off getting the recoil now so CAMaster can factory install.

So, I'm thinking about calling CAMaster to see if I can change the order to get the recoil now (and factory installed).

Would I be better off having the CNC come with the lathe factory installed?

If you know you are going to use it and plan to make money, then better to order it from the factory. Otherwise, many of us don't use it as much as we had hoped. But it is nice to have when you need it.

When I ordered mine two years ago I also ordered it "recoil ready" then changed it a few days later to get it factory installed. My logic was, in addition to the cost of the parts I would pay shipping, do the install, then as I understood there was additional programming that CAMaster needed to do after installation to complete the install. (I'm not sure that was accurate info). So I chose to pay the additional cost up front and everything would be ready to go when I was.

I did like Ken...figured in the long run it was more cost effective to have
Camaster just install it. The shipping savings alone will probably make it worth while.
