I would like to add an hour meter to my Stinger I to track spindle time. Anyone done this. Where did you make the connections?
Thanks
Alan

I don't have an answer to your question, but WinCNC keeps up with hours for you. You can find the file in C:Wincnc/Log/WCNC

On a Stinger 1 your only option would be to either monitor "system on" by using a 110vac trigger or to program the VFD to signal "running" to monitor spindle run time with one of the internal relays

I have several 12 VDC operated hour meters from farm and industrial equipment. You could connect such a device to the +12 VDC power supply of the control PC. Perhaps there is also a +12 VDC supply in the router control box.

Vibration hour meter, used to use them on my dirtbikes. Maybe it would work if you stuck it on the spindle.
