Default Moving the start point on a cut

How do I move the start-stop point on a specific vectors toolpath, I keep having a small detail break off because it starts cutting in the wrong place. I see the little green box but it won't let me select it or move it. Thanks in advance

select vector in node editing mode. It's like the selection arrow but slightly different. Then right click on the point you want and there should be an option to make start point.

Hover any other node and hit the "P" key. That node will turn green, making it the starting point..
You can also add nodes as needed....

You also have start options on the "Start" tab in the advanced options. Works pretty good on geometric shapes, not quite as well on artistic or organic.

OK so I got the green dot to move but when I recalculate the toolpath it still starts in the old location. Do I need to create an entirely new toolpath for the change to take place?

Once the start point has been changed you must select "Use Vector Start Point" from the advanced options menu
