Kids, kids, kids....

You adjust the G28 homing routine to the pins, not the pins to the homing parameters. You can adjust all 3 axes a thousandth of an inch at a time, if needed.

Yep.. Gary is right. There is no reason to replace the pressure version of the FTC switch to gain a couple thousandths of hysteresis. The conductive versions, well, that's another matter.
