I'd still ask and if I'm not mistaken they offered to do that when I was looking at new machines. Any welder worth their salt can make that frame removable and every bit as strong when bolted...

BlackBox recommends 3" for the manifold and 2" for the runs, but I saw a significant increase in performance when I replaced the 4" inlets on my dust collectors with 6".

Would the same be...

The Hurricane will likely do a decent job of holding a half or full sheet down, but probably not as well when a lot of small pieces are being cut out.

It has 4 motors on 2 switches and with a 4...

Vacuum Manifold Design

Setting up my manifold and thinking that this design will increase the amount of vacuum to each section as needed.

Opinions and/or suggestions welcome.

Thank you

Thank you, I'll check with the suppliers next week on sizes and see if anyone of them carry LDF. Thinking if nothing else I can cut a strip off the old table for the two farthest edges.

Spoil Board

MDF or LDF?

Everywhere I've called sells them in 4' x 8' sheets. My table is 49" x 98". Do I need to buy 5' x 10' or will the 4' x 8' work or am I not asking for the right material?

Thanks

I understand what you are saying it's just that I prefer the 3 and 4 jaw chucks and I could have bought that 10" for $50.

I realize that but with its capability of carving up to 12" x 96" I don't want to be limited to just carving smalls, nor do I want to put something on there that is too heavy for it.
