My on CNC fire was caused by running a file for someone i did not make, the bit plowed into the spoil board and broke the Vac was still on , we walked awy to rewrite the file and the embers and air...

Aspire cannot undercut it is a top down 2.5 d file

we usually do the bottom first then build a jig and do the top. I can help more later

I would look at your positioning at the file production stage,, With Vectric What You see is what you get, I have never used Wincnc offsets and have never had this happen

Start with 2d work using Vcarve pro,, it is the nuts and bolts of what you will need to know,, move up to 3d once feet are soaked well it will be a better learning curve this way

Geez fellas I am one of the few to light it on fire and it was off when it lit. not foolish enough to not be in charge of my machines (and i have a few of them) they are all dangerous for one reason...

Looks like lift to me that is an awful BIG bit to be hardwood slabbing,, I use a 3 flute 3/4? hogger at 45% stepover makes for a whole lotaa less work later
