What did you do for a living BEFORE CNC?

I'm not sure if anyone else is interested in knowing what people did for a living before CNC routers became common, but I learned long ago that "everyone has a story". I like to hear those stories....

DUNA Corafoam U150, PPG & SICO acrylic paints, & 19karat Caplain Gold Leaf. Sign was sandblasted , with the sandmask cut on the CNC. V-carved letters done with a 140* V-bit.

I'd be a lot more productive if I didn't make so many stupid mistakes .... I mean REALLY STUPID. It takes only a minor interruption to derail my train of thought, & the results are often costly....
