Z0 is set to material top in the tap file while you state that Z0 is set to the table top. They need to be the same. Most people in this group set the Z0 to the table top in Aspire.

You can place the back very near a wall and the left side within about 12" of a wall. You'll need people space on the other 2 sides.

Same here. I used the 4ish inches at the Y+ end of the table to create a vertical jig, but it would have been easier in the front/Y- end. Of course, just moving the cabinet wouldn't have done the job...

I've used a slot cutter, which has some similarity. The bits I've used do not extend beyond the cutter so cut a dado without requiring the material to be raised above the spoil board. Worked fine....
