I have a 2-bagger with a “claimed” 1100 CFM...

I have a 2-bagger with a “claimed” 1100 CFM hooked directly to my Stinger. It does OK but I wish I had more CFM. I second getting the Kent dust shoe.

Yes, it is a bit annoying isn’t it?. I’ve heard of people wiring an on/off switch to it but you run the risk of frying the spindle if you forget to turn it on... something that I know I would do.

Steve, look for the model number on your HSD spindle. From that you can Google the spindle nose diameter, likely 56mm (2.205) but you should verify.

You say 1hp but I think you mean 1kw (1.34hp)

I still run into situations where a stubby drill chuck would be nice to have. The big concern in this old thread was exploding the chuck if the RPM was accidently set too high....
