Surfacing the Spoilboard down .005"

aprox 61" x 100" MDF surface Cobra 508 x3

600 ipm

Vacuum hold down on with dust collection working too.

There is a lumber yard in this area that was named Cedar Creek (they changed their name). They carry all kinds of lumber. My spoilboard started out as a 60”x120x1.125”. A lot of CNC’s use this as the “base” for the table top.

You can find 5x10 or 5x12 MDF at most lumber wholesalers. Not an unusual size at all. You might have to strike up a relationship with a local cabinet shop to have them order a piece if you need it.
