New Stinger 1 SR24

I just purchased the SR 24 on 12-30-20
Engraving laser
2" gantry lift
performance package
t-slot table
starter bit set
Stand
I also added the 2.7 spindle today 01-12-20
My question is what do I need for power on the new spindle does it come with a plug that I plug in to? need to get the electrician to come over and run the wires before the machine gets here just not sure what I need

My mistake the spindle is 1.7KW

I have an SR24 with the same spindle. Unless something has changed over the years (mine was built Dec 2016) the spindle is 220v 20amp and takes a standard Nema 6-20P plug. It can't hurt to double check with tech support though.

And congrats on the new Stinger!!! Now the wait begins......

Here was his response
Hello Ronald,
The machine comes with two plugs.
1. Spindle is a 6-20R plug. Requires a 20amp breaker. Should be on an isolated circuit for best results.
2. Cabinet is a regular 110Vac plug. Should be on an isolated circuit for best results.

Then the computer and monitor are also 110Vac.

Charlie, mine did not require 4 wire with neutral. When I checked with tech support they told me they had misinformation out there on the SRs stating a neutral was required but they have supposedly corrected that issue.

Given the description from the factory it makes that a 3 wire could do the job.

Ask Camaster to provide you with the "prep guide" for your machine so you have all of the specifications you need to prepare for your machine.
