Jim,

Speaking of Good Scotsmen - Do you know Neville?

Question about the hand mirrors: Are they inlaid or put in from the back (2 part frame)? Just wondering how you got such a great looking fit...

Did I mention that I am Clan Sutherland on my mother's side? (Take that TR!!!!)

Mike

Mike,

The hand mirrors are pocketed from the front, and I used the pocket vectors to cut a pattern out of 1/4" birch, then a friend cut the mirrors to the pattern.

TR knows that I am from Clan Glenlivet, on my liver's side.

Jim

Hello all,
Haven't posted anything in a while, got an email from TR asking "Are you Dead?", so thought I would add a picture or two. Got inspired from a post I saw on the Vectric Forum and thought I would try a two sided piece. Needed a gate for the back yard, so this was the results.

Thanks Gary,
The inset, or carving is a single piece, the rest is regular rail and stile. Spanish Cedar with TWP sealer.
