Default Fusion360 Post for 4th Axis

Anyone aware of or using a Fusion360 post for the recoil?

I spent quite a bit of time looking at tool paths for lathes in Fusion360. This was before I received my machine. I finally came to the conclusion that it wants to treat rotary jobs as regular CNC lathe jobs. With cutting tools, and not router bits. I finally gave up and decided to just make sure to get Vectric software with my machine. I'm glad I did.

To totally change the topic, I upgraded to Aspire, but on my rotary test cuts with a couple of 2x4's, the software definitely distorts clipart when wrapping. When I have time again, I'm cutting the clipart either as a flat job over the rotary (or on the table). With manually rotating the A axis for each surface.

Good points; I agree. It seems Fusion360 wants only to recognize a lathe, and Vectric (despite 9.5 rotary improvements) is still native flat surface with post processor wrapping. Hopefully both software programs mature 4th axis routing.

Dan...
I am a frequent contributor to the Centroid CNC Forum and those that have lathes say that Fusion 360 leaves a good bit to be desired. Not so much in the design end, but in the toolpath output.
