Default What Collector

Hey all so I am close to buying a more appropriate dust collector for my stinger x3. Budget is about $1300. What would you get and why if you could do it again or for the first time?

Do you have ducting already and how far away is the collector going to be located?

Will the system be dedicated to the CNC? If so, your budget should be able to get you a nice single stage with a canister filter. You can augment that with something like the Super Dust Deputy cyclone from Oneida if you want separation for easier maintenance. If you'll be servicing multiple tools, then your budget may be inadequate to put in a system that will handle the air flow requirements.

You cannot go wrong with Oneida. I have owned a 3hp for five years and I am very happy with it. For your price range check out below URL.

I am sure that there are other good ones out there but besides my DC purchase they designed my system for ten machines and shipped all the materials and it worked perfectly. I cannot say enough about their customer support after the sale. IMHO.

Thanks guys yes it will be dedicated to the machine when itís running. I plan to trunk off to my saw and miter saw as well but keep those closed when not in use. I am trying to go as big as 110V will do. Iím on the last circuit in my basement. The collector will be right on the end of the CNC. I cut my own custom dust boots for the x3 so Iím hoping to make a manifold of sorts to branch a 6Ē port to the three heads and have blast gates at each.
