Default gremlins rolled in... yesterday

panther 4x4 w/ATC. anytime an action request to measure using the button switch - "Calibrate Switch" or "Measure Tool/All", the tool will move over the switch, then say finished. it does not lower down to touch off - just says finished. the cnc will still respond to commands, and i think would even run a .tap, but i don't trust the tool length settings, they are off.

recycled power on everything several times, and reseated the data cables, to no avail. placed call and email to CAMaster customer support yesterday, no response yet.

considered copying over WinCNC from my backup, but read that parameters need to be re-established afterword before it will work.

would appreciate any info or guidance you may have on this issue.

thanks in advance.

Just grasping at straws but this has happened to me before.

Verify your switch is not stuck in the down position. Mine got stuck down and acted just like this. After lifting it up and adding a touch of cleaner, all is well.
