Default Need source of corian

I have been ask to give a quote on making some desk name plates made from white corian for the school where my wife works. I figured that I need at least 3 pieces 24 x 35. Now, for the hard part, finding a source of corian. I would rather not deal with scraps or cutoffs and getting a countertop installer in my area to sell you the material is slim to none. Can anyone give me an idea what to expect to pay for 3 pieces of corian that size and possibly point me in the direction of a source.

Corian is Dupont, A brand Name,, White acrylic (Solid Surface) is sold by a good 285 different companies. I get solids for pretty cheap for general use.

the counter installer is not who you need it is the guy who sells it to him

where are you located

Have you called campo 504 439 2378 or terese's 540 949 8349

you want a solid white, tell them what you need it for and they should want to sell it to you, you could do one for them, generally they just will not sell to competions or homeowners wanting to do their own tops

Solid Surface is a supplier that you can order their new, overstock or discontinued Corian or LG counter top material online.

Check it out.

http://www.wilsonart.com/homeowners/...u=D354SL&btr=1

Click the "where to buy" and input zip.

I've had no luck trying to buy actual corian, official distributors won't even talk to you unless you are licensed ...

Wow that was weird, my keyboard all the sudden started typing Russian, no joke. But anyways, wilsonart from my experience is every bit as good as corian and generally cheaper. After the rudeness I got from their distributor here I'll never try to buy corian again unless its from a reseller.
I found a place by me thats got loads of it or can order, I got a 3x4' sheet for around $150, in fact I got 2 of them.

This place has a lot of variety and you can at least get an idea of prices. I'm on their email list.

I've never bought from them yet.

I finish basements and buy a lot of granite tops. My supplier also does solid surface. I asked for some scrap to play with and ended up with 1800 pounds loaded in my van that was headed for their dumpster.
