Default SIgnFinishing 101 .... new dates

Since it appears my "light duty only" sentence is drawing to a close, & there's been little if any loss of interest in classes, we've re-scheduled.

Nov 2 & 3, 2019, at Somerton Ridge Hardwoods, in Suffolk VA,
and, the following weekend
Nov.9 & 10, at Neal Meyers Jr's barn in Guyton GA ( near Savannah)

If you originally booked for Savannah, but Suffolk is closer, feel free to switch. The Suffolk class has morphed into an annual event......

Sorry I can't do one any sooner. The obstacle now is getting US Medical coverage ....impossible until Mid-August at earliest, & I'm sure as hell not going without it..

Let me know here, or on the SF101 page on FB if your interested, & your preference of venue.

Thanks for all your kind concerns, & well wishes.

You'd better behave between now & then.

So....not counting hosts....
I have only one confirmed for Suffolk, Nov 2 & 3 ( room for 6 more)
I have 3 confirmed for the Savannah class, Nov 9 & 10 ( room for 3 or 4 more)
I have 4 confirmed for the High Prairie class, June 15 & 16. ( room for 2 more)

Attached is a photo of my "trial run" on the primary piece. There will be some changes .... the shade on the lettering is too time consuming, so the background will need to be darker. The skull, modeled by our own Michael Mezalick, but with hand-carved undercuts, needs no changes ...... doing the undercuts& sanding took me less than an hour, but I use carving tools daily .... so I expect students will spend about 2 hours getting their skull ready to paint, which is fine.

I'll remove the "brand" if anyone prefers it not be there
