Default High Z retraction at end of passes

This may be a stupid question, but I'm running a 3D profile on my rotary and during the finishing toolpath at each end of the run the Z raises approximately 1 1/2" then comes down and repeats this at each end. This did not happen during the roughing toolpath. What am I missing in the setup that might be causing the wasted move?

Thanks

This generally happens when the toolpath is going right up to, and perhaps a little beyond, the edge of the modeling area. Setting the boundary vector in just a smidge from the edge generally makes it go away.

Frank...
Along with the machining boundary, set the safeZ to a small number. Once roughing is complete, and assuming that your boundary for it was appropriate, you should be able to drop it down almost to the material surface.
