Default Adding air line to Stinger

Hello,

I'm planning on adding some Loc Line to my Stinger to blow chips away when machining aluminum. As far as running the air line on the machine, I want to run it inside the cable chains to feed it up to the Z axis. There are a lot of choices for tubing from polyester reinforced PVC to Tygon etc. I was just curious what type of tubing to CAMaster uses when feeding a Z axis counterbalance cylinder?

I'll be running pretty low pressure -probably 20-30 PSI max.

Thanks,

Kyle

You can use either nylon or polyurethane. the nylon is similar to refrigerator water tube, the PUR is available at McMaster Carr

Use 100 psi rated tube

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check it out.
Is the polyethylene tubing like you find at Home Depot or Lowes too stiff?

It could work, but have never tried it. As a rule, I NEVER buy anything from a big box store that I can get thru another supplier.
