Default HIWIN linear bearings

so we are prepping our panther 404 w/atc for start up. after reading the lubrication threads and the HIWIN lubrication document, noticed that we received near empty boxes holding a few plastic parts for PMI Precision Motion Industries for linear guideway/carriage. are these HIWIN equivalents? 3rd party?

I think you are referring to the plastic piece that you re-insert if you need to take a bearing out. This prevents the small ball bearings from rolling out and all over your floor.....

Hi Ron, thanks for your response.
yeah, after reading the packing list it did say for bearing removal.

main point is why the box says PMI instead of HIWIN. for some reason I thought the bearings on the panther were hiwin brand, but the factory told me they only use PMI. "We use the PMI brand solely for all of our CAMaster machines."

guessing they converted to PMI along the road...
