Default Vacuum manifold outlet size on Panther

Does anyone know what size pipe comes out of the vacuum manifold on the new Panther? I'm trying to buy an inline canister filter and don't want to buy the wrong size. I suppose I either need a 3" or 4". The inlet on my pump is 4". I haven't got a clear response from CM sales. Thanks.

If you don't find out just get the bigger one and nipple down.

Yeah, I said it. Nipple down man. Nipple down.

Thumbs up

I'm not really sure how to respond to that. :D I'm in healthcare in the imaging field and I see more nipple down than I really care to.
Thanks for the advice.

I purchased a Panther about 6 months ago and it has a 3" pvc female coupling for the vac.

Thanks SM.
How is your Panther running? How well does the Hurricane work with your setup?

The machine has been great I haven't had any problems, unless the were self inflicted

The vac has been good it is a little noisy so I had to build a closet to house it to help with the noise but it has plenty of vacuum for anything but real small parts. I needed a 220v setup and it works well. I have been happy with it.

Great to hear it's working well for you. I know all too well about self-inflicted mistakes. These machines are smart, but they will do exactly what you tell them to do, which isn't always what you want them to do.
