Have any of you ever setup a file for a Big Green Egg Table? Just got one of their grills for Father's day and thought it would be cool to route one on my Cobra. Just curious.

I have an Egg and thought the same thing. My wife bought me mine about 6 years ago and bought a nice wood table with it.. Now the table is worn so I have been looking at different table designs to make my own.

I have cut several for a fellow craftsman here in town. He always wants somebodies school logo or saying v-carved and a simple large hole bored to hold BGE. He builds the table/cart support. I think I still have a file if you need the hole dimensions

I use the cnc to cut the hole and ends of my tops. I only have a 50" table so my program is tiled. I use covers on carts so the top size was important. The rustic cart is 80yr old fur from a barn and holds an XL egg. Just for fun a mini max using scraps. The fancy cart is mahogany and holds a lg egg for a customer.

Make sure you have 1/2- 3/4" gap around grill and don't sit the grill directly on wood. And they are very heavy.
