Ah. An SR latch. Or flip flop. Interesting. I guess a counter checking pulse width or pulse counts in a certain time could do it. There are standard one wire protocols out there as well. I’ll have to see if it’s worth the effort. Having auto shut off for the vac may be good enough - I modified all my post processors, and it’s working sweetly. Thanks for coming up with the original idea!

I had the pleasure of forgetting to measure a tool. Luckily, the abort switch is close at hand. My FTC is now working...
