Soooo two and a half years later my emergency stop gremlin has returned. Ran a long hdu cut this evening and it went off 4 times. Hit ďrestartĒ went back 2 or 3 lines and away we go. Iím gonna check and see if during the 14 inches we moved it the other day for the vacuum table install something might have come loose. If it continues I think Iím going to bypass the switch for a bit to see if the switch is the issue. My space bar is actually as easy as the big red button. So fingers crossed.

Check the DB37 cable. Remove, blow out, reinstall securely

Im not sure how the dust situation in your electrical panel looks like, but I also have the emergency circuit gremlin. Just blow out the contacts on the back of the EStop, maybe spray in some electrical contact spray. This has sorted my problem many times. If I have (on any of my machines, be it Beamsaws, CNC, Foiler, whatever) problems that are "Weird", I notmally start by blowing out contacts of switches and buttons. 90% of the time, that sorts it out

So, no luck. Still doing it. The inside of the control box looks like it did when it came out of the crate 2.5 years ago, very minimal dust. Emergency stop button appears to be working properly. My guess now is its more of a software issue and not a hardware issue because nothing needs to be reset to get it started again. I curious if there is something in the INI file I can change to disable an mention of "EMERGENCY STOP?" Like I've said, I'm not really concerned about the big red button working, I'm more concerned now about frying a $2,800.00 spindle by having an EMERGENCY STOP go off 3 times during every cutting session.

I just cut the letter "N" out of HDU which took about 40 seconds, emergency stop on the last line of code.

Or better yet can I reprogram the emergency switch just to stop the machine but not the spindle?

Forgot to post an update. Called tech support a few weeks ago and he tweaked a few numbers in the ini file and it hasnít happened again. Love Camaster tech support.
