Default Router Bit Profiles

Ok ... stupid question and apologies in advance.

I want to add some bits to the Tool Database in Aspire. Looks easy enough to do something like add a Ogee bit, etc etc.

My issue is finding a vector file of the router bit's profile so that I can node edit it. I have asked several bit distributors and one manufacturer for vector files of bit that I would purchase. No go.

Everyone says they do not have them. I have a hard time believing that however that makes no difference in the end I guess.

Does anyone know where I can buy bits and get vector files for them?

Thanks much!

I have a file with most of the profiles from Magnate, if that's helpful. Here it is.

James, there are only 7 profiles there, got any more?

It might be nice to compile a single cad file with bit profiles from a bunch of manufacturers with stock #'s. Pretty handy to be able to refer to a single file when making/amending a tool library.

I've attached the Magnate profiles as .dxf in case somebody else can't open the .crv3d

these were provided by whiteside when I was researching MDF doors, most all of the manufacturers provide the full cad dxf for machinist and cnc types. been a while since I was in contact with them,, for most of my needs I just make my own
