Default Gibson Les Paul File

I have a friend that enjoys woodworking and also is into playing the guitar. He was talking about buying a Gibson Les Paul the other day and I suggested that he build one himself and said that we could cut out the parts on my machine.

Guitars are not my specialty so I figured I would start by asking the experts here on the forum. I am looking for a file to cut out all of the parts (or as many as possible) Anyone have the files or could point me in the right direction.

My friend has never used a CNC before so I thought this may be a fun project to get him interested in learning something new. Any information, files, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Brendt,

There are a lot of great files out there! My bass player is a builder so we're hoping to combine skills on my next Les Paul so I'm sure I have something helpful! I'll check my hard drive and see what I can send you!

I'd buy the guitar to have a fine instrument to enjoy, and do the project at your leisure.

I would think the odds of failure are very high for a novice home brewing a guitar, I guess you never know for sure until you try.
There are some talented luthiers here, a guy on vectric too who has posted cut files

Also loads of models available from the usual places, would probably take some luck to find one ready to cut
