Default Jim Meadows

Greetings to all,

I am extremely grateful for the wealth of information here, and the willingness of everyone to assist in problem solving.
I am a hobbyist, have had my Stinger III for almost a year now and with LOTS of support have managed to make a few projects that escaped the "burn pile".
When asked what I do in my shop, the common reply is "Make really expensive sawdust". But this has proven to be cheaper than therapy so all is well.

Again, thanks to all here who patiently answer "dumb questions".

Regards

Jim

Below are some table toppers I made for our CCA Banquet.

Here are a few projects from the last few months.

The cutting board is Canary Wood, with Walnut inlay.

The surfboard chair is Sapele.

The sign is out of Mahagony.

Default A first...

This is the first project that went from the "Burn Pile" to the CNC.

Usually the other way around.
Simple project using Vectric clip art and firewood.

Made some candy dishes for gifts this year.

Large ones are Bloodwood and Maple, the smaller ones are from scrap drops, some Jatoba, Yellowheart, Tulip wood, and various pieces.

Made a clock for cousins who own an RV park in Grand Isle, LA.
Used LSU colors, purpleheart, and yellowheart.
Since Grand Isle refers to itself as "a small drinking town with a fishing problem", I decided to make it 5:00 always.

JIm, your cousins RV park in Grand Isle? What's the name of the park?
We checked out Grand Isle last March & liked it. Not going there this year, but maybe in 2017.........

TR,

They have the "Island House", about midway down the island.
