Cleaning Dykem from 50+ parts would be a headache. The diamond drag will give you a line similar to marking with the height gage minus the dykem. Am I correct in assuming you are using a box and pan/finger brake? If you had a hydraulic press brake with a backstop you would not need to mark the parts before bending them. I never got very good with a finger brake, I have seen some guys that were pretty impressive with it, but never on par with a good Amada/LVD.

Hi Pete,

I use either a finger brake for larger parts or a small vice brake for small parts like the brackets I recently made. The vice brake is actually quite handy
