Question Vacuum Table

I love my vacuum table except when I have small pieces and I have to surround with scrap wood. Other than plastic nails, screws, double sided tape does anyone have a better way? I have a large pile of scraps for that purpose on a table next to my machine but I would like to do away with it. I am open to any and all suggestions please. Thank you in advance. Cheers.

I just use some packing material. I have a few pieces of plastic foam stuff and once in a while I will use a contractor size garbage bag.

You could use almost anything I imagine. Paper off a roll for paint masking ect...

I have yet to try it but people seem to swear by the painters tape and ca glue trick. Lots of videos on youtube and some informative posts here about the process. Its on my list of “things to try soon”
