Default Alberta Signfinishing 101

This is still 6 months away, but there a good chance I'll be doing a 2-day "Signfinishing 101 class near High Prairie Alberta in June. High Prairie is 4 hours north of Edmonton. To put this all into perspective, it's about 11 hours north of the Coutts-Sweetgrass border crossing, & 12 hours north of the Eastgate ID border.

If you've ever wanted to travel "north", it's only about 7 hours more to the 60th parallel, which is the Northwest Territories border. A little over an hour from there , & you can be overlooking Great Slave Lake. In June, nights will be pretty short there & there are some beautiful waterfalls along the way. Highways are relatively good. Point being, you could turn this into an awesome holiday, with a good portion of it tax-deductible. I suspect the venue will have plenty of room for campers.

It appears that I'll have room for 3 more participants. The usual stuff ..... painting, gilding, & handcarving for beginners. Attached is a draft of the primary project for the next 2 workshops.

Depending on the day, I'll probably be interested. That's about 4 hours north of me, but sure is beautiful country up there.

It'll be a Saturday & a Sunday, Russell. I won't know the exact date until they announce the dates for my wife's AGM .

Russell, you'll really enjoy this training...and Rodger is very worthy of spending a couple of days with even without the training!
